Attention Games – Stimulate your Concentration and Focus

A few weeks ago we presented «Memory Games» and today we want to show you the next game that we have published within the Senior Games project, the collection of games that we are developing for the cognitive stimulation of elderly people. This is Attention Games, an application that contains 7 games, for now, designed to stimulate the ability to focus and to concentrate.

Attention is one of the essential cognitive functions in our daily life as the development of attention capacity helps to keep the mind healthy. Attention refers to the ability to concentrate on a specific stimulus. It is a cognitive process that is in constant interaction with other domains such as memory.

In order to work this cognitive function, the app offers different games for:

Find objects
Solve puzzles
Find the differences
Play word search
Identify the intruder
Distinguish colors and words
Choose the right side

This collection of puzzles is developed in collaboration with doctors and experts in neuropsychology. In addition to attention, these games help to stimulate other areas such as visual association, fine motor skills, visual memory or orientation.

Although the app is aimed mainly at elderly people this game is suitable for the whole family, from the youngest to the elderly and senior players, as it offers different difficulty levels.

Attention games is totally free and it is available for Android and iOS devices so you can play it wherever you want. We are constantly updating the game so we really appreciate you feedback and suggestions in order to improve it. We hope you like it!

Palabra Perfecta: Practice and Learn Spanish

We present Palabra Perfecta, a casual game to practice and learn grammar in Spanish.

Are you one of those who know all the words of the dictionary? This is your game! Do you need to practice some grammar and spelling rules? This is your game too!

Both for those who master the language and for those who are learning Spanish, Palabra Perfecta is a good way to have fun in an educational way.

Doubts between B and V, words with H or without H, homophones, grammatical errors … you can practice the language while having fun!

The mechanics are very simple. Incomplete sentences will appear in the grammar section and you will have to complete them selecting one of the options that are shown. In the section on antonyms and synonyms you must choose the word corresponding to the proposed example. Finally, in the definition section, a definition will appear and you will have to choose the word to which it corresponds.

Memory Games – Stimulate your cognitive skills

Tellmewow presents Memory Games, a collection of games that is already available on Google Play and App Store. Memory Games currently brings 7 games and we are still working on it to ad more games in the coming weeks.

In this memory game collection you will be able to:

– Repeat sequences
– Avoid obstacles and trace the right path
– Remember figures and numbers
– Memorize patterns

– Stimulate working memory

Firstly, we have worked on the playful part, emphasizing the usability and the game mechanics. In a second phase we will incorporate a specific section so that users can see their evolution based on the results of the game.

Memory games is included in an interesting project we are developing now: Senior Games. It consist of a collection of games for iOS and Android, mainly aimed at people over 50 years, designed to stimulate different cognitive areas such as memory, attention, visuospatial function, speed of processing or coordination.

Senior Games is a project carried out with the collaboration and advice of expert professionals in neuroscience and psychiatry, with the aim of serving as a complement in the treatments carried out by doctors and health centers. On the other hand, it serves as a way of entertainment and mental training for anyone who wants to install it on their mobile device. The objective of this project is precisely that, to be an app that is used for the mere fact of enjoying playing and at the same time can serve as a tool for stimulating different cognitive areas.

All games are suitable for smartphone and tablet, so they can be used anywhere and by anyone.
